Interior Design Drafter | Revit, AutoCAD & SketchUp

About the Role

We are hiring for an architectural design firm specializing in hospitality, commercial, retail, and multi-residential interiors, seeking for an experienced Interior Design Drafter to join their team full-time.

This is a drafting and documentation role and does not require a licensed architect or engineer. The primary focus is converting completed SketchUp designs into accurate, coordinated Revit and AutoCAD drawing sets.

Responsibilities

• Convert completed SketchUp design models into Revit and AutoCAD documentation.
• Produce complete interior drawing sets, including:
  • Existing and demolition plans
  • Proposed floor plans
  • Reflected ceiling plans
  • Lighting plans
  • Electrical and plumbing coordination plans
  • Interior elevations
  • Finish plans and schedules
  • Signage plans
  • Furniture plans
• Maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the full drawing set.
• Incorporate revisions efficiently.
• Coordinate drawings with designers, project managers, architects, and engineers.
• Deliver organized, easy-to-navigate documentation on schedule.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
• Strong experience producing complete interior design documentation/construction drawing sets.
• Ability to accurately interpret completed 3D SketchUp models and translate them into detailed 2D documentation.
• Strong understanding of interior plans, elevations, RCPs, finishes, and coordination drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and drawing organization.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Available full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time.
